The 11th Algiers International Film Festival (FICA) took place from December 2 to 11, 2022 with the screening of around sixty films between documentaries, shorts and feature films. 
The special jury prize was awarded by the majority of the jury to the Algerian short film "Al saghira" (the little one) by Amira Géhanne Khalfallah. The film deals with the effects of French nuclear tests in southern Algeria (in the 1960s).
